I’m Bonnie Maguffee, the Director of R. Work Group.
Over 20 years ago now I started R. Work Group with the vision to help people seek and find the right job at the right time.
We specialize in helping people find the right job, especially when required to make work and career changes because of health needs.
Do you have physical or mental health related issues impacting your ability to find and keep a job? Then we’re here to help you.
We’re here to help you discover the job you need right now to build your career in a way that focuses on your abilities. We’re here to help you plan and strategize to find the right career. If you’re working somewhere that you know uses your abilities, your confidence, motivation, and sense of purpose will be reinforced and established.
This is even more important with today’s economic challenges. You need to be in the right job to stay competitive and to stay working.
Using your abilities is what will help you to work well- and I mean well in a healthy manner. Since we specialize in helping people with health related issues, covering the spectrum of mental health issues and physical limitations, a focus on ability is especially important. Today, ability is pretty common talk in our field of vocational rehabilitation but focusing on ability is much easier said than done.
That’s why we guide you using our 3 principles. First Re-assure, second Re-educate, and third Re-establish. These 3 principles will help you get the right job that focuses on your abilities and builds your career. We understand the impact that physical and mental health issues can have upon your work ability as we are a trained team of vocational rehabilitation specialists.
Walking the talk ourselves has also significantly contributed to the development of who we are here at R. Work Group. My husband, who you’ll get to meet later, and I have worked together and her brings with him his own story of focusing on physical abilities. Having sustained an accident in his 30’s that resulted in him becoming a paraplegic, he retrained from becoming a finishing carpenter to a vocational rehabilitation counsellor. I walked through life working from noon to dusk at my passion of vocational rehabilitation until I was challenged with my own diagnosis of cancer and months of combined chemotherapy and radiation treatment to learn how to walk my talk.
We’re still learning and we invite you to learn with us here at R. Work Group. We’ll help you to find the right job at the right time.
